This page showcases diverse documentary projects I directed and edited these last few years. Sometimes self-funded, sometimes commissioned by clients, it's a genre I really appreciate and that I am looking forward to developping more in the near future. I also often assist documentary directors as a director of photography.
"Le Cluquet : sheltered from time"
Documentary Short Film - 21 min
A documentary about a stopover lodge situated in the French Pyrenees, seen through the eyes and memories of my dad, who's been volunteering there since I was a kid.

"Behind the scenes of creation"
Documentary Webseries, 10 x 4min episodes
This webseries explores the daily life of women artists; their work, their doubts, their successes. It was shot entirely in vertical, in the form of very short episodes, destined to be shared as reels on Instagram. Here is Episode 1 :
"Tribute to a Glacier"
Documentary Short Film (experimental), 4min
A musical immersion in the wonderful landscapes of the Athabasca Glacier in Jasper National Park seen through an indigenous lens, to bring us a new vision of the land.
This film got selected in more than15 festivals around the world.
"2 years in Canada"
Autobiographic Documentary Short Film, 22min
After 2 years in Canada and a pandemic, I decided to take the old camcorder from my childhood to capture the people I met along the way, and keep a memory of this life-changing experience. A bit more intimate than my other projects, this was my first attempt at a more introspective documentary style. CC: English subtitles available
Commissioned documentaries
Documentary short films are becoming more and more popular for promotional purposes because of their authenticity. Here is my latest work for Small Places, based in Vancouver BC, whose mission is to showcase how good urban design helps communities build. I also collaborated festival organizations like les Arts Franchis, for whom I filmed the encounter between a french orchestra and a music band from Tel Aviv, back in 2017.
